Replug Audition details
The following details for musicians

Guitar / Bassist
1. Record yourself playing two songs of your choice (two separate genres – where possible). – Showcase your skills and don’t be shy to show off.
2. Showcase the different chord types (Major 7, etc.) and strumming patterns that you know (palm muting, flamenco strumming, etc.)
3. If you have any additional music knowledge (scales, inversions, etc), just showcase it to us.

Percussionist
1. Record yourself playing two songs of your choice (two separate genres – where possible). – Showcase your skills and don’t be shy to show off.
2. Followed by 8 bars of free styling on a 4/4-time signature (120 bpm (beats per minute)).
3. Displaying knowledge of musical rudiments (if any). For eg. Single Stroke, Double Stroke, Single Paradiddle, Double Paradiddle.
NOTE that in Replug IG, percussionists will primarily play the cajon for most shows and the other percussion instruments will vary accordingly to the show requirements.

Keyboardist
1. Record yourself playing one song of your choice (any genre) – Showcase your skills and don’t be shy to show off.
2. Followed by a freestyle (improvisation) to a backing track and tasked to come up with countermelodies, harmonic melodies, etc. (Where possible)
3. Subsequently, play a simple 4 chord progression (G, C, Em, D), and create/ improving the chords accordingly to a new style of their preference.
4. If you have any additional music knowledge (scales etc), just showcase it to us.
